DESCRIPTION
The Bott Frères Alsace wines are the product of knowledge acquired over nearly two centuries. An exceptional terroir, high quality grape varieties and the Ribeauvillé microclimate are the components which elevate this producer in a region full of high quality wines. Three generations of vintners are united today to maintain and to enrich the know-how of the Bott family for the future. Tradition and quality are the standard; ensuring the creation of wines with a very high level of quality
The family vineyard plots are mainly located in Ribeauvillé, in the heart of the Alsatian vineyards. The property was established by Philippe Louis Bott (1800-1855). He was the son of a brewer and an impassioned winegrower. He began making wines in 1835, while continuing his brewery activity, as his forefathers had done before him.
At Bott Frères, sustainable agriculture and a respect for bio diversity have always been part of our family values. Traditional techniques as well as new technology are employed for successful wine-making. Only a terroir that is loved and respected can produce such exceptional wines. The Bott family does not manufacture wine, but cultivates it. The greatest care is given to the grape, all the way from the vineyard to the glass.
