Domaines Taïx

DESCRIPTION

Pierre TAÏX is a wine producer committed to the excellence. In his property he enjoys the briny breeze coming in from the ocean, the soil that nurtures the vines, the stirring of the land; these living invisible elements.

He loves this nature, this sky, these wild hills, these deep woods, these secret dells with pools of still water; this marvellous spectacle that is the perfect but fragile alliance of man with nature. For him the grape vine is exposed to the weather and the wine become a reflection of the soil, its vintage.

Organic agriculture allows us to live in harmony with this nature, to be part of it for a moment, to obtain a touch of civilization from it.

An organic wine is a wine made from organically grown grapes. Its method of production is based on a respect for nature and the environment.

Organic agriculture specifications demand much more restrictive methods than that of conventional viticulture. The use of chemical fertilizer, pesticides and herbicides is forbidden and regular tillage of the land is required.
