Domaine Saint Amant

DESCRIPTION

In the heart of the stunning Dentelles de Montmirail (Southern Rhône Valley) high up at 1800′, Domaine Saint Amant enjoys a unique terroir: 32 acres of small terraces. It is the highest domaine in the Rhône Valley. The domaine is composed of twenty different plots of land, scattered on the eastern and southern flank of Mount Saint Amant.

Grape cultivation follows traditional methods and the work ethic is strict. The grapes are harvested by hand, the vinification and ageing occur in stainless steel and/or French oak temperature-controlled vats.

The wines reflect what nature is willing to give…

The cellar built in 1995 is underground and air-conditioned.

The Jacques Wallut family, owner and winemaker, produces 50 000 bottles a year.
