Clos St Antonin

DESCRIPTION

The Sabon family, who already owned the Domaine de la Janasse, expands by acquiring a new vineyard: the Clos St Antonin.

The vineyard is part of the town of Jonquières and extends on 15 hectares. The origin of its name comes from the writing on the frontage of an old XVIIIth century old masonry located in the middle of 14 hectares of vines. A place called St Antonin can be found on maps going back to Napoleon.

The Clos St Antonin produces various designations: IGP Principauté d’Orange, Côtes-du-Rhône, Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages Plan de Dieu and Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

The 2015 vintage was the first vintage vinified by the Sabon family. A family, traditional and quality production that respects the values of the Domaine de la Janasse:

* Respect of the soil and the environment

* Neat and reasonable work of the vineyard

* Adapted vinification and growing, with a search for expression of the soils.
