DESCRIPTION

Gérard Gelin is part of a winegrower family since 2 generations and is the owner of the Domaine des Nugues since 1976. In 2000, Gérard Gelin forms a partnership with his son, Gilles Gelin: EARL Gelin. Now, Gilles works with his wife Magali.

The domaine count 36.20 ha. All the estate is located in the northern Beaujolais, surrounded by the crus Moulin à Vent, Fleurie, Morgon.

The only grape variety used in Beaujolais area is the gamay grape for the red wine and the Chardonnay for the white wine.

Earl Gelin wants to keep the elegance and the structure of the gamay grape through its wines. The consumer can keep our wines up to 3 years and more.
